Repair the part that failed

A dripping cartridge, worn shutoff and damaged supply pipe do not all call for a new fixture. We look at the condition of the surrounding plumbing before recommending the repair. If more work is needed, we explain the reason and the access involved before proceeding.

A small repair needs a clear scope

Let us know if another repair has already been attempted, which part was replaced and how long it worked. Photos of an accessible fixture or connection can help explain the problem. Access behind a cabinet, wall or floor may change the work involved; plumbing repair and restoring those finishes should be discussed separately.

A question worth asking

Does one leak mean my home needs a repipe?

No. A sound system with one failed connection may need only a localized repair. Repeated leaks in different sections deserve a wider evaluation, but the recommendation should follow what is found.
