Running Toilet Repair

A running toilet is often caused by worn tank parts, incorrect water level, a bad flapper, a fill valve issue, or a flush mechanism that is no longer sealing. We identify the cause and repair the fixture so it shuts off correctly.

What we can help with

  • Replace worn flappers, fill valves, and tank parts
  • Adjust water level and flushing components
  • Check for leaks from tank to bowl
  • Recommend replacement if the fixture is too worn
Know your options

Stop the refill cycle at its cause

A toilet can lose water into the bowl without leaving a puddle. We inspect the flush seal, fill valve and water level, then check that the tank fills and stops correctly. Parts need to suit the fixture; replacing every component is not automatically necessary.

A question worth asking

Can a toilet be leaking even when I cannot hear it?

Yes. A slow leak from tank to bowl can be quiet. Changes in water use or occasional refilling are useful clues, but a check of the tank components is needed to identify the fault.
