Have the notice and assembly details ready

The water supplier’s notice identifies the assembly, deadline and reporting requirements. Send those details when requesting testing so the scope can be confirmed. Testing evaluates the device; a failed result may require repair and another test before the paperwork can be completed.

Testing and repair are separate decisions

A test result describes how the assembly performs at the time of testing. It is not a promise that aging parts will never fail. Let us know whether a current notice, a previous failure or an equipment change prompted the request.
